Reporting issues and suggestions
If something in the app does not work the way it should, or you have a suggestion, report it directly from the app, with no separate e-mail. Your colleagues in the same organisation can see the report too, so anyone on your team can follow up on it.
How to report an issue or a suggestion
- Click your profile at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Report issue from the menu.
- Choose the Type field: bug, suggestion, or question.
- Describe what happened in the What happened? field. For a bug, you can also add what you expected to happen, and check the box if it is stopping you from getting your work done.
- If a screenshot helps explain the issue, add up to 3 (PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 5 MB each). Click Add screenshot to pick a file, drag one onto the box, or paste one you already have copied.
- Click Send.
A screenshot is sent to our support tool (Linear) so we can see what you saw. Avoid capturing sensitive data such as customer bank accounts, tax numbers or salaries.
Where to follow up
Every report you send shows up under Settings, on the Reported issues page, together with its status (Received, In progress, Resolved, or Closed). Click a report to open its details in a panel, with the full text, any screenshots you attached (click one to see it larger), and any replies. The same list also shows reports your colleagues sent, since the organisation shares one list.
What success looks like
When the VegaERP team replies to your report, the reply shows up underneath it on the Reported issues page, and you also get an e-mail with the reply text and a link back to that page. The e-mail goes to whoever sent the report, in the language set on their own profile.
Not every comment in our internal tracker is meant for you. Only the replies the team has explicitly marked as meant for you show up on the page and in an e-mail, so we can discuss your report among ourselves without every note landing in your inbox.
